For off-grid communities, access to clean, running water can be a challenge. That’s why the commercial and industrial solar team at NAZ Solar Electric is proud to have partnered with Installer: Done Right Electrical to provide solar power to a community water pump in Northern Arizona.

To power the 40 hp deep well pump, a 480-volt 3-phase solar power system was built. The project included designing the system, laying out the groundwork, installing the underground conduits, pouring concrete, and installing the racking and panels. Power system equipment included:
In the end, there was enough energy to power the community water pump along with an additional makerspace for area residents to come and learn about the technologies that affect their world.
